A Kick In The Googlies
Yaxlich has just had a look at his Site Meter statistics and saw that someone visited his blog via Google. The search phrase they used was : uk most irritating. Yaxlich was a little upset about this. Whilst he appreciates that not everybody will like him, he didn't expect to be listed on Google as 4th out of 2,340,000 results for the most irritating thing in the UK. Here is the link to the Google search results. He's off to the garden now to eat some worms and then he is going to play with the traffic. |

Maybe this cloud has a silver lining? More site traffic, perhaps?
Both Lizza and Anna have come up with very valid points. He only wishes that they had come up with them a couple of hours earlier because Yaxlich can't get rid of the taste of soil out of his mouth.
Still, at least he won't have to play with the traffic now.
Oh look. A birdy.
There's no bloody way you could be any higher than 50th most irritating, Yaxlich. Google is obviously all messed up on that. But maybe if you try harder...
Yaxlich thanks Utenzi for his kinds words. He will be interested to see how Mr Utenzi gets on with the new version of Internet Explorer as he is scared to install it in case he has to take his computer back to the man that speaks Urdu again.
Tish likes James Blunt. Tish hopes Yaxlich will be careful playing with traffic in case he ends up sued for vehicular damage and finds his Clenchometer rating soaring if afraid to unveil his nether regions in jail. It might make the Peruvian seem a welcome distraction.
Yaxlich likes James Blunt in the same way he likes Tom Hanks. He doesn't. He would like to hit him in the face with a frying pan.
I wonder whether it is the Betty Swollocks or the Agoraphobic Peruvian that is causing all the irritation for google?!
Nice template too. Quite a change in contrast.
How did you find out the site meter info. I know I'm an idiot but seriously would like to do that on my site? And you're right, Blunt deserves a frying pan in the face if anyone does
Yaxlich is pleased that Rhys likes the new look although his comment suggests he hasn't been to see Yaxlich for a couple of weeks.
Michael can find the information in his Site Meter by looking at the 'referrals' section. It shows how people found your site.
okay, I'm an idiot. Where is the site meter? Is that a blogger thing?
If Michael clicks on the Site Meter button in Yaxlich's side bar he will be able to create his own account and see how everyone finds him.
Yaxlich loves Site Meter.
thanks, I'll check it out. good luck with your tricky questions
