Nearly Christmas

Christmas is on Monday and Yaxlich still hasn't done any of his Christmas shopping. He's going to go to the shops tomorrow. He is sure everyone else will have already done all of their shopping and is looking forward to wandering around the near empty shops.

Yaxlich has just been reading the 100 things we didn't know this time last year article and he is disappointed to read that the Queen has never been on a computer. If he'd known that he wouldn't have wished her a happy birthday on his blog.

He is fascinated with Fact 29. Why would an octopus disguise itself as a coconut? Wouldn't it be better for an octopus to disguise itself as something you're more likely to find in the sea? Like some poo or a used condom?

Happy Christmas Yaxlich! Enjoy the empty shops???

And I'm sure that someone told the Queen that you wished her a happy birthday. That's what her staff are for!

Oh Yaxlich. Wendz is sorry to inform him that the shops will be far from empty. They will be heaving like lice on a camels back.

Wendz hopes Yaxlich doesn't get lost and that he finds suitable gifts for his family. Socks and ties and soaps are not good gifts, however.

I hope you do not have a girlfriend.

Oh dear. Yaxich is even more disorganised than Ignorminious himself. Ignorminious did a rushed shopping trip today to buy presents for all his friends. Most of what he bought came from Sainsbury's, which perhaps says a lot about the level of commitment he has to Christmas shopping. Ignorminious didn't even bother to wrap the "presents". This on the back of yesterday, when he was so short of time while buying a birthday present that he actually phoned up the recipiant of the present to ask what they wanted so that he wouldn't have to browse the shops.

Ahh Yaxlich - it's really quite easy. You have two shopping days remaining until the day of crimbo. Write a list with pertainent shops, only go to those shops and if all else fails, buy them a discounted turkey in the supermarket on Sunday.

Dont go shopping or buy anything , instead just think a nice present because after all it is the thought that counts. With the time you save you can stay in a swot up on cliff Richards Christmas songs.

Bonne Courage for the festive season

May you continue to entertain.

Wendz likes Yaxlich's Christmas Elves on his header. Very classy little elves.

Sally - Next year please remind Yaxlich not to do his shopping so late...

Wendz - The shops would had made a camels back look lice free.

Anonymous - Yaxlich does not have a girlfriend. He thanks you for reminding him of this fact.

Iggy - Yaxlich's sister had a present from his nephew which was not only in the Amazon packaging but also came with the receipt.

Sim - Yaxlich tried both but failed. He did, however, find a plump, dead pigeon outside his flat and is wondering how easy it is to be a pigeon plucker.

Billy and Mrsf - If he ever hears that mans name mentioned he will scream!

John.G. - Yaxlich thanks you for continually reading his blitherings.

Sablonneuse - Yaxlich had fun and he thanks you for your nice words. It genuinely means a lot to him to know that people enjoy reading him.

Anonymous - Nonny Baby, who are you?

Wendz (again) - He is glad you like them. Finding Santa hats to fit all three of them was a nightmare.

Ah, inspiring! Ignorminious wrapped several prezzies for his family before realising that he hadn't removed any of the price labels. He had to upwrap them all again to do this before rewrapping them once more.

Glad you left your shopping as late as me... it's comforting to know I'm not the only disorganised person around!

Just followed you back from my Heroines and Heroes blog, and I'm glad I did - you got a good place here!

Yaxlich is pleased to have you back. He also congratulates you on beating your target and hopes your hair grows back soon.
