| It looks as if Blogger are going to force Yaxlich to move to the new version. He's very scared that everything will break. He found a website which has given him some advice on how to back up Blogger. He hopes that it works OK. If he disappears without a trace, he's very sorry. Google ate him. |

Yes, it's still here - and looks fine. The bastards forced me to 'upgrade' too. It was a hairy moment a couple of hours ago, I can tell you...
Yaxlich will avoid any obvious reply to The Girl regarding hairy moments and will simply say that he is pleased that both he and The Girl made it through relatively unscathed.
Looking round it doesn't seem to be too different...
They did that to me last week. Pissed me off. I was going to hold out indefinitely, but they forced me to switch. Now I have to log in with my email address, which is about twice as long as my old Blogger user name was. Grrrrrr.
Yaxlich was hoping to hold off for ever but, sadly, they forced him like the big bullies they are.
Anyway, Yaxlich is pleased to see Jim as it's been a while. He tried to subscribes to Jims feed but it wouldn't work in Google Reader. He'll try again.
Yaxlich, i went to the new blogger whe i first started. It`s a bit of a pain having to log on everytime but you learn to/have to live with it. Hope it didn`t make you pee too much!
what did they do to force you? i'm still holding out ... just on principle, really (and fear)

Yaxlich has succeeded in his endeavour to adopt new technology. One applauds Yaxlich for not being gobbled up by Google. Apparently, Google dislikes soggy Twiglets.
I don't have to log on every time. I haven't noticed any difference at all, to my blog or anyone else's as a result of switching, but then I'm not very observant.
Dawn is very glad Google did not eat Yaxlich. She, too, was forced to move. And in this cold, too. Other than having to comment 4 or 5 times, she has noticed no difference.
I think Yaxlich would be a little too much for Google's tummy, that's why they didn't eat him.
Blog looks just fine, btw. I don't notice anything out of order.

It didn't honestly make a lot of difference. Few new templates available. Slightly different log in.
Yaxlichs' blog looks just the same to me though! Very glad he wasn't eaten. Perhaps Yaxlich was wise though to hold on until the last minute, so that all the people they were going to eat were eaten while they were doing the beta - ry bit!
Yaxlich is lucky. Wendz moved in the early days and things were dicky for a while.

Ah, I'm glad it wasn't just me who waited until the last minute. I was most upset at being forced to update but also seem to have come through unscathed. Boo to bossy software but hooray for it apparently working.
Just found another difference in the comments box. It allows me to put in my own (not Blogger) URL instead of signing in with a Google account (which I don't have.) Very relieved to see your blog has come through unscathed but I'm wondering how Yaxlich is himself as there hasn't been any news recently. Hope you are OK.
