That Was The Week That Was
| Yaxlich was speaking to someone over the weekend and he told them that he writes a blog every day. The other person asked Yaxlich what the blog was about to which he replied the world. The other person said that was a very big thing to blog about and Yaxlich agreed. In the last week or so Yaxlich has written about inbreeding, agoraphobic Peruvians, carjacking by drunken Welshmen and a goat, annoying internet songs, Islamic fundamentalists, unemployed people smelling of vegetable soup, mutant eyebrows, potty problems, Filipino judges and imaginary dwarves, his brief appearance on a blog about cowbells and an 80's policeman arresting someone for possession of curly black hair and thick lips. Sometimes Yaxlich wakes up in the morning and wonders if he'll find anything to write about. |

post a commentI'm pretty sure that Yaxlich will always find something to write about. Interesting things are always happening, either in his own country (which gives funny names to its food and towns) or in the rest of the world. ;-D
Tish hopes that Yaxlich will not be advocating inbred, agoraphobic Peruvians and being carjacked by drunken Welshmen (AND a goat) as the 'New Black".
That would make Tish very sad; Tish doesn't much like drunken Welshmen, although she finds they can be rather amusing when sober. Of course, it very much depends on what they are doing with the goat...

Yaxlich would like to know what funny names England gives to its foods. Toad in the hole seems like a reasonable name for sausages in batter.

PS Is this in reference to a specific Rhys or is it just Rhys as a species of dark (sometimes drunken) Welshman with a goat? And what about Owen? Does Yaxlich know him, too?
Tish likes Yaxlich's blog; Tish has bookmarked it for future enjoyment and might even add a link to Yaxlich to her blog if she cam be bothered altering the template.
Yaxlich is pleased the Tish likes his blog and will read hers properly soon. He was distracted by the thought of the trip to the Job Centre earlier so did not absorb it fully.
Rhys runs the World of Bloggers website and is also from New Zealand so Yaxlich assumed you were neighbours although that is Australian.
Don't you eat something called Bubble and Squeak and Spotted Dick? The latter sounds kinda scary.
Yaxlich had two goldfish called Bubble and Squeak when he was smaller than he is now. He has never had a spotted dick although he understands that it is very nice with custard.
I had Bubble and Squeak once, I ate too much and threw them back up. Neither had a spotted dick, though.

Anyone with a spotted dick should A) see a doctor or B) carry a fine tip marker pen to play 'join the dots' when bored. But not in public cos that might get one arrested. Probably for graffiti.
