Norfolk 'N' Chance

Yaxlich has just been over to see how JonnyB is getting on in the Weblog Awards thingummy and he is currently in the lead by 141 votes. There are still a couple more days to go so keep on casting your vote for JB.

Interestingly enough, the competition has now taken down all of its posts about the awards and is feigning disinterest in the whole thing. They seem to think JonnyB is cheating in some way, dismiss the award as rubbish and say that Jonny is a girl.

Yaxlich is pleased to see such intellectual political heavyweights at work. With these guys behind the campaign for an EU referendum, how can it fail?

Mind if I pinch a copy of the post-it for my own site (fully credited of course!)? Although I'm pretty sure that everyone who reads my blog reads others that have been campaigning for JonnyB all the way through, I'm quite tempted by the intense promotions that every site who declares their love for JonnyB gets on the EU Referendum blog. Clearly those guys must really love JonnyB and his friends :D

Ignorminious is free to use the Post-It note. Simply peel it off the screen and stick it onto your own blog.

I love the timeline of opinion over at EU Referendum:

1 - "We've been nominated for an award, but don't really care. Well, maybe we do a bit."
2 - "Hang on, we aren't doing too badly. Vote for us! We really care!!!"
3 - "We're really not doing too badly. WE MUST WIN THIS! VOTE FOR US!!!"
4 - "Hmmm, JonnyB has gained some more votes. Make sure we win."
5 - "Ha ha, he's not getting enough to catch us. Stupid country bumpkin idiot head."
6 - "Ah. Seems to be gaining on us. Us winning is a statement. Not going to say why it's a statement. It just is. So make sure you vote."
7 - "Dah."
8 - tumbleweed

Hehehe. Yaxlich likes Huw's version. It is pretty much how Yaxlich sees it. It went from an award they were desperate to win so that their campaign would get more publicity to something they wouldn't touch with a barge pole.

JB 216 votes ahead at the moment with another two days of voting left. Go JB!

just voted again.

280 in front.

Go Jonny.

Vote insignificant Yaxlich.

Greenmantle is drunk. e drank too much wine and wishes that Yaxlich could come to France to have a drink with him.

He doesn't think that this will affect Yaxlich, but it might make him go and vote for JonnyB.

The opposition is now accusing JonnyB of cheating!

They are twats of the highest order. We can only hope that they never get into power in the UK...

Hadn't bothered to read the alternative blogs until today. Having now looked at them, I think I'd rather watch paint dry. I sort of lost the will to live after about number three. I can see why we are all voting for Jonny B.

If the competitors think that that's unfair, I suggest that they review their writing style and/or the content or give up blogging!

JB is a good blog so is Yaxlich Eu referendum is not.

I always laugh at these sad twats in the UK banging on about Human rights laws. It was the UK who pushed pushed them under the tories - but then they were just a bunch of lawyers. Am I being too serious and political? Fuck it better vote for JB

Blimey, its an alternative universe on EU Referendum.
One of their voters (archduke) said, "hands down, its the one blog that has really opened my eyes this year to whats really going on in the world."
No wonder his last album was crap.

Go JonnyB

Anonymous - keep on voting. Loose lips sink ships and all that.

Greenmantle - Yaxlich is currently on the wagon so would not have been able to join you for a glass of wine. He hopes that you did manage to vote, though.

Girl - Yaxlich says hello and welcome to his world. He has visited yours a couple of times and always needs a lie down afterwards. He can't believe that the opposition are being so petty about an award they don't want to win...

Sally - Exactly. The other blogs are exceptionally dull to read. It's not just the content, it's the writing style. Yaxlich suggests they visit some of the very good writing sites online and review they're own styles before moaning. JonnyB writes in an engaging style. They do not.

Billy & MrsF - Yaxlich thanks you for saying that his is a good blog. Being serious and political has it's place but not in the contenders for Blog of the Year, in Yaxlich's opinion.

Caroline - Yaxlich says hello and welcomes you to his world. The same could be said for JonnyB's blog. If Yaxlich had never read it, he would not know just how dangerous village life in Norfolk could be.

Let that be a lesson to everyone.

Hye!

I just tried to vote just now and it told me that I had already voted in the last 24 hours - which I haven't!!!!! I voted over 24 hours ago.

In case you are all wondering how I managed to type "hye" instead of "hi", it was supposed to be "hey"....... hey ho, typos win.

Naughty Murph! You'll get your paws slapped if the EU brigade hear about this. No more bottom sniffing for you...

Sally - Try again. Some times the internet biscuits in your computer get confused.

Hmmm... Those twunts seem to have mustered a whole new batch of votes from somewhere. Let's have a last huge push for JonnyB in the last 18 hours or so!

Blogger Yaxlich said ... (11:59 am) :

Huw - It does seem somewhat odd that they increased their score so quickly in such a short period of time. You are right. A final push is required.
