Yaxlich Had A Nose Bleed

Yaxlich can't remember the last time he had a nose bleed. He thinks he was probably five. Anyway, he had one yesterday as he was sitting on the toilet.

He was doing a number one, not a number two, so there wasn't an straining involved. One minute he was sitting there, minding his own business doing a wee, the next minute a torrent of blood came rushing out of his nose.

Lots of clever people stop by and read his blog. Can anyone tell him why he had a nose bleed? He would look it up on Google but he's worried he might end up on someone elses Googlie list for the search phrase "why did Yaxlich get a nose bleed having a wee?" and he's not sure he could stand the public humiliation which is why he's asking you because he knows you won't tell anyone.

I do hate it when circumstances conspire to ruin a good sit-down wee.

I do hope Yaxich was not trying to show off his multitasking ability by picking his nose at the same time as weeing. That would cause a nose bleen, and it doesn't count unless you are standing up anyway ;)

Nose goblins.

It's probably not, but I just like saying it.

Nose goblins.

Why was Yaxlich sitting down for a wee? Puzzled!

Perhaps Yaxlich has that personal gentleman's piercing known in certain circles as a Prince Albert?

Mr Angry - Yaxlich likes reading your blog. You make him laugh even if you do use naughty words.

Iggy - No, Yaxlich was just having a tinkle. He reserves nose picking for long car journeys.

Jack - Yaxlich likes the term nose goblins. He thinks he will use it from now on. He doesn't have any body piercings and certainly not on/in his Beefy McManstick.

John G - Yaxlich often sites down for a wee wee. It's because of a problem he suffered as a child.

Start multivitamins and check with your doctor. No kidding.

Littlebear

Yaxlich thinks that Littlebear might be right. He is a bit concerned that this happened so will try to see his doctor next week. That is assuming that he doesn't bleed to death in his sleep.

Maybe.

High blood pressure?
In the USA, they often have machine where you can check at the pharmacies.

MTS has composed this comment 5 times but can't seem to keep it short. So, she's going to summarise:

It's probably nothing to worry about. But there are several very nasty conditions of the blood that can cause nosebleed, so Yaxlich ought to get himself checked out.

He should also not start taking multivitamins until after he has seen a doctor, as they would distort make any blood tests that doctor might order.

MTS assumes however that there's nothing to worry about, and Yaxlich really does have nose goblins.

Finally, a much worse medical condition to have: defaecation syncope. People with this condition pass out whenever they do a poo. There are also defaecation seizures, where people have a form of epileptic fit when they poo. Both make toilet trips worrisome.

Blogger Yaxlich said ... (1:13 pm) :

Kiyotoe & CJ - It could be a combination of both things. He doesn't drink enough water and he is a bit stressed out by not having a job so probably has higher than normal blood pressure.

MTS - Yaxlich is grateful for your educated medical opinion. Nose goblins it is, then.
