Snuffles

Yaxlich is feeling a little under the weather at the moment so doesn't feel like blogging. He's a bit sniffly, a bit snuffly and a bit headachey. Since he tends to blog about things he sees, there seems very little point blogging today unless people want to read about his duvet, the contents of his tissues or Sky Sports news.

In other news, he can confirm that he won the 2007 Insiginifant Awards. The fact that every one of the blogs that entered also won is totally irrelevant. Yaxlich won an award. So there.

He's off now to blow large quantities of nasal mucus into a tissue.

See? He told you that you wouldn't want to read about it.

I am sorry for Yaxlich`s woes, but be careful not to blow too hard , those paper tissues can explode.

Awwww poor Yaxich! Being ill is never much fun. Winning the Insignificant Awards must be a comfort for you through.

If you've read my post from yesterday you'll see that it is actually perfectly possible to write a post about a duvet.

Although thinking about it, reading that post might well have been why you decided not to write a post about a duvet, since they are clearly destined to be crap :)

Poor Yaxlich, I hope his tissues are of the luxury variety otherwise he will end up with a very sore nose, (trust me I know)!

Gosh your week is just rocking so far, isn't it!

Glad you use tissues and not man-sized hankies...ew!

I hate this time of the year. Poor Yaxlich.

Forget what I said yesterday about roll on Spring. Roll on Summer.

Perhaps Ignorminious you can lend Yaxlich your new duvet to make him better?

Take some Echinacea! Works for me!

I dunno, he'd have to promise not to sneeze on it! I don't want his nasal muscus all over my beautiful warm duvet.

Brother Yaxlich, congratulations on the Isigny. Prometheus thinks he has won it too and got clogged nasal ducts too. Snarf to that.

Poor Yaxlich. Having a cold is miserable. Your post reminded me of the meal I had in our 'favourite' brasserie last week - tagliatelle aux fruits de mer - it ressembled nasal mucous on a bed of slimey tapeworms.

John G - Yaxlich read your comment too late. He will change his blowing technique today.

Iggy - Yaxlich read about your duvet. Maybe he could start blogging about soft furnishings from now on. It's got to be better than poo and wee.

Beccy - Sadly they are of the value-pack variety so he has a very sore, red nose now. A bit like Rudolph but without the ability to fly.

Wendz - It would be safe to say that Yaxlich has had better weeks.

Sally - What is Echinacea? Was it your word verification?

Prometheus - Yaxlich is still reading your blog in his Google Reader thingy. Don't be upset that he has not left you a comment but he can't read it in IE6.

Sablonneuse - Tagliatelle aux fruits de mer, you say? Yaxlich has made a mental note to never order this.

Congratulations to Yaxlich on winning of Insignificant Awards [along with other bloggers]. Waaachooo, may Yaxlich feel better soon.

Anonymous Ignorminious said ... (6:32 pm) :

So long as he doesn't mix poo and wee too closely with his soft furnishings as that would make his house smell :P

Blogger Yaxlich said ... (11:46 am) :

GG - Yaxlich is still a bit snuffly today but not as bad as he was.

Iggy - It would be an interesting angle, though.
