Cold Hands
| Today is very cold where Yaxlich lives. It is cold, dark and rainy. Yaxlichs fingers are numb and he is considering putting socks on his hands. He would put the central heating on but he's afraid Mr E will tell him off. The agoraphobic Peruvian is off work again this week so is staying at the flat. Quel surprise. He is surprised that she isn't cold because it's very hot in Peru. Yaxlich is beginning to wonder if she really is Peruvian. |

post a commentRemembering when I used to live in London on cold wet days, I wonder if she hasn't squirrelled away the flats entire supply of hot water bottles and strapped them to her feet.
Either that, or she's from high up in the Andes and is used to the chill and goats
Maybe she has a layer of llama-like fur under her clothes?
Does she like marmalade, perchance?
Just wondering.
I hope Yaxlich finds a way to keep warm. Mr E has his agoraphobic Peruvian, maybe Yaxlich can find warmth in BBG's assets?
How does marmalade play a role in this, I wonder.
Was she wearing a label asking for someone to look after her when she arrived?

MTS wonders if perhaps Yaxlich's medical condition has improved at all, considering the cold weather?
She also suggests hot cups of tea to warm up Yaxlich's hands and stomach, but appreciates that she may be a little biased.
If Yaxlich sewed eyes and noses on his socks, he could amuse himself playing sock puppets when not writing his blog.
Sim might have a point there. That would certainly explain the smell of goat poo in the house. He certainly hasn't got close enough to see if she has llama fur under her clothes. Nor does he want to.
Yaxlich hasn't seen BBG for a while. He would be too shy to ask her if could warm his hands on her bosoms, though.
Anonymous - it's because Paddington bear came from deepest, darket Peru and he used to eat marmalade sandwiches.
Sally - Yaxlich can only assume she did which is why Mr E took her in and, indirectly, caused Yaxlich to suffer from toilet issues.
MTS - Yaxlich thanks you for your concern about his medical condition. The colder weather certainly lessens the chafing. He is drinking lots of coffee to warm up his tummy on the inside.
Tish - what a wonderful idea! He is going to borrow the Peruvians sewing kit and get cracking this afternoon.
